Libraries in COVID-19 Showcase
State Library Victoria
& Public
Libraries Victoria
Libraries across Victoria are working harder than ever as they continue to play an essential role in the State's pandemic response and recovery. They support our communities through these isolated times by ensuring that everyone can stay connected.

To highlight the different programs that libraries have been providing throughout this pandemic, we delivered the Libraries Change Lives: Libraries in COVID-19 Showcase for the Public Libraries Victoria and State Library Victoria.

Programs that libraries have been offering include online book readings, technical support, online audiobooks, resume support and much more! These offerings have bridged the digital divide, helping Victorians find work, keeping vulnerable communities connected and supporting students throughout Victoria's COVID-19 lockdowns.
We were excited to have Brian Nankervis as the MC, joined by Minister for Local Government The Hon, Shaun Leane MP, State Library Victoria CEO Kate Torney and Public Libraries Victoria President Chris Buckingham.

The event started out with a gentle yoga flow before leading into a jam packed day full of keynote sessions, workshops, networking and mentoring for guests to listen, learn and share their experiences. The extent that the guests were able to connect with one another on a virtual platform was enthralling.

The conference theme was focused around being Unapologetic, which means being true to yourself and not letting others determine your own self-worth, a message that we strongly believe in at JTPM!

Sami Shah Gets Schooled
Victoria University
Whether online or in-person, Sami Shah (ABC radio broadcaster, comedian and writer) is just not having any luck debating high school students!

In 2020, JT. Production Management teamed with Victoria University once again to produce a light hearted debating session. Sami's 3-year rivalry with Footscray High School students continued as we live streamed their debates on a range of hot topics, including the school system, toxic waste and the industrial revolution. Despite Sami's best efforts, with votes from the tuned in audience, the high school students won with a landslide victory.
