If you interact with JTPM as a client or event participant, personal information about you will be held for the primary purpose of supplying you with information related to upcoming offerings, conferences, and events. We gather and process your personal information in accordance with this privacy statement, in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ('Privacy Act') and European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We comply with these legislations and are committed to protecting the right of the individual to the privacy of their information.
This statement does not apply to the information or privacy practices of any third party who perform any business function in conjunction with or at the request of JTPM.
What personal information do we collect and why?Personal information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include:
contact details, such as name, address, email, and telephone number;
personal details and information about you, such as title, date of birth, gender;
member or student details, such as member/student ID and other membership/student information (Depending on the client's requirements);
Your information will enable us to facilitate your participation in a conference/event and provide you with our services. We will not collect personal information unless it is required. Your personal information may be used in the following ways; to process financial transactions, communicate conference/event information, administer the conference/event, process your bookings such as accommodation requests, and for statutory tax obligations.
Sensitive InformationSensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union, or other professional body.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:

How do we collect personal information?
Principally, JTPM and its authorised representatives collect the personal information through:

the use of, and interaction with, the information and services provided through our websites, including digital services such as online enquiry, feedback or other forms, event website and platforms;
communications and interactions generated as part of our dealings with you through social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter;
requests for follow-up information, requests to join a mailing list or to be contacted for further information about our products or services;
our marketing and promotional campaigns, for example, the process of developing a feature news story for a magazine, electronic newsletter, event promotion, or online newsroom, or other JT. Production Management website content; or
such other information that you (or your authorised representative) provide to us as part of your (or your authorised representative's) communications or interactions with us.

In some circumstances, we may collect personal information about you from third parties you have consented to or authorised to provide that information to us (for example, a client for whom we are producing an event).
